The March 5th, 2008 Club meeting will feature a Guest Speaker  on "Outdoor Self-Care and First Aid". Tom Murphy of the Tewksbury Fire Department has graciously accepted our invitation to spend the evening with us discussing potential health issues that may be encountered by our members both at home and at the flying field. These issues include; lacerations, heat stroke, insect bites, heart attacks, etc. As a public safety officer, Tom is sure to provide a unique, and informed perspective on this topic. After his presentation, Tom will entertain questions from the audience.

Note: This presentation is not intended to provide formal training in First Aid, rather it is intended to provide an overview of typical medical issues that may arise with our members, and to suggest possible actions and/or treatments to deal with these issues.
