David Swanay's Whimpy

The Whimpy is designed by Roger Tennyson. It is RCM plan 585, published in January, 1975.

This is a simple 3 channel airplane, but far from a simple airplane to build. The wingspan of the Whimpy is 66 inches, the power is an OS FX .25, and the weight is expected to be about 4 pounds. The covering will be red silk and dope with white painted trim.
